Frill Seeker Neck Warmer Pattern

The Frill Seeker Neck Warmer is worked in Brioche stitch, creating a cushy and reversible ribbed fabric.

It’s a distinctive knitted ribbing technique that’s identifiable by its thick, doughy texture. This texture is the result of adding yarn overs - bringing the yarn over the stitch, giving it a little shawl over its shoulders - to what is essentially a 1x1 rib.

What you'll need

Yarn: I’ve used 128 Superwash by Cascade Yarns - a buttery soft merino. It comes in a rainbow of colors, has great stitch definition, and is easy to care for. But you can use any bulky (5) yarn for this project like Plump by Spincycle Yarns or The Squishy Yarn by We Are Knitters for example.

You'll need approximately one and a half skeins for your main colour, and half a skein for the accent colour. You can also knit this piece in one solid colour if you prefer! You'll find the exact yardages in the pattern.

Needles: US 10.75 (7mm) 20 inch [50 cm] circular needles, or US 10.75 (7mm) double pointed needles or the needle size that helps you achieve the desired gauge.

Gauge: 10 sts x 13 rows in Brioche knit = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) on US 10.75 (7mm) needles.
