Cozy Cocoon Balaclava Pattern
The Cozy Cocoon Balaclava’s structure provides a very warm and comfortable fit.
It’s worked in Fisherman’s Rib, which makes it very fluffy and light to wear, despite the chunky knit. The Fisherman’s Rib yields a very similar result to Brioche but is a much simpler pattern to follow.
This is a quick project to knit up!

What you'll need
Yarn: You’ll need a super bulky (6) yarn. I’ve used Magnum, by Cascade Yarns, which is a super bulky, 100% Peruvian Highland Wool. You can also use Wool And The Gang’s Crazy Sexy Wool, or The Wool by We Are Knitters.
Needles: US 13 (8mm) 24 or 32 inch [60 or 80 cm] circular needles or the needle size that helps you achieve the desired gauge.
Gauge: 8 sts x 8 rows in Fisherman’s Rib = 4 x 4 inches (10 x 10 cm) on US13 (8mm) needles, and 9 sts x 12 rows in 1x1 rib = 4x4 inches (10 x 10 cm) on US 13 (8mm) needles.
